The HiTECH
ConductiSwitchTM
is an very economical liquid level switch that is ideal for a variety of
conductive liquid level detection applications, including: run-dry protection,
tank overfill, and pump control.
The
ConductiSwitchTM
is a simple, safe, and low maintenance liquid level switch utilizing the
conductivity sensing technology.
A small AC signal is applied between the conductive electrode, mounted with
its tip located at the point to be detected, and earth ground (typically the
liquid container).
When the liquid touches the electrode an extremely small AC current begins to
flow (no electrolysis). The current is detected by the electronic module and
converted into a switching signal.
