UNICONT PDF series is the universally scalable
process value indicator for current loops, most of them without the need for
Depending on their installation there are two different types of them:
Plug-in display with connection according to the standard DIN 43650,
Field indicator for installation on wall or mounting plate
PLK-501 plug in display can be connected to the
2-wire transmitters with its DIN 43650 socket, such as NIPRESS pressure/level
gauge and MicroTREK radar level transmitter. The UNICONT PLK-501 has 4 digits
LED display and both ordinary and ATEX certified versions are available.
UNICONT PDF units are digital, field process indicators with 6 digit LCD display
as well as transmitters, converting analogue current to HART signal. They are
suitable for the use in hazardous areas in their ATEX certified EEx ia and EEx d
versions. Models with HART converter require power supply.
Process indicators find their use where besides displaying process value no
control function, such as switching ON/OFF pressure control, etc. is needed. For
application in hazardous areas Zener barrier or duly certified power
supply/isolator should be used.

The PD683 and PD688 are designed for demanding process control applications. Standard features include a full 5-digit backlit display with bargraph, on-screen custom engineering units, and max/min display capabilities. There are two models available: the PD683 is for general-purpose applications and the PD688 is for hazardous area applications.
Even with all the features packed into these meters, they're still easy to setup and get running. Everything is programmed from the front panel buttons with no pots or jumpers to deal with. In fact, these indicators can be scaled without a signal source for even quicker setup.
The PD683 and PD688 go just about anywhere with their shallow-depth case, FM Type 4X front, loop-powered backlighting, and wide operating temperature range. It doesn't matter if they're indoors or outdoors, in bright sunlight, or a dimly lit plant, wet, dirty, hot or cold. And the PD688, with its FM approval and CSA certification, can be installed in just about any hazardous area environment.
Square root and programmable exponent functions are standard features on the PD683 and PD688. With these features these indicators can display flow from a DP transmitter or open channel flow in weirs and flumes.

FRONT PANEL DISPLAY
Precise, Accurate, and More Informative
ProVu's large 0.6" upper display provides a highly accurate and precise 6-digit view of the process measurement. Its 24-bit A/D is accurate to ± 0.03% of calibrated span ±1 count.
The upper display can be programmed to indicate PV, maximum (peak), minimum (valley), alternating maximum/minimum, one of eight alarm set points, or Modbus input. The lower display can also be configured to display engineering units, set points, user defined legends, or simply turned off.
Optional SunBright Display Models
ProVu's SunBright display models have an extraordinarily bright LED display. They are perfect for applications where the meter is in direct sunlight or in applications where visibility may be impaired by smoke, fog, dust, or distance. There are 8 user selectable intensity levels to choose from on all ProVu models. This option is available on all ProVu models.
